No, I have never been to a foreign country, but would like to see Paris, France, and England, and a beautiful island would be great.

I’ve been out of the country a few times, mostly for work. I was sent to Zurich Switzerland twice and the company paid for it including the fun things I did on the weekends I had to be there. I got to enjoy so many beautiful places and we took the trains everywhere (something I wish was better established in the US). The plane stopped over in Amsterdam, but I don’t count that because I never left the airport. My other big overseas trip was to New Zealand twice for vacation. The first time I was on a plane for almost 20 hours getting to Auckland. The second time I was “forced” to layover for two days in Tahiti before finishing the trip there. It was rough but I managed! I could go to NZ every year and think it’s incredible. There’s something for everyone from South Pacific beaches in the north to skiing and glaciers in the south. Great fishing, wineries, hiking, local culture, glaciers, caves, volcanoes, and strange wildlife. I recommend it to anyone!

I am a Canadian but I was born in the former Soviet Union, Belarus and lived the most part of my life there. Does it Belarus a foreign country for me? It is my motherland but . . . when I visited Belarus, my favourite city Minsk, 2 years ago, I felt myself as a foreigner there. Does Israel a foreign country for me? I am not only a Canadian but Israeli as well. When I came to Israel 4 years ago, I felt like I came home. Yes. I have been in foreign countries. There were Germany and UK (London).

Going to U.K. this fall with some friends, childhood dream. Going to explore the castles in Scotland, Ireland and England. Hoping to fit in a few days in Germany as well. Very excited-would you like to join me?
