It would be pretty boring if we got through a day and thought, "Oops, never learnt anything today." In fact I think it's impossible for us to do that with all the information we encounter every hour. Even if we were in the dark, alone in a cell, we'd learn something about ourselves even if it was can I cope with this situation or I can't handle this isolation?
