Strange Laws Around The World

Check out these nutty laws from across the USA & around the globe! Can you verify that these laws are still used? Where do they get these from? Do you know any other strange laws? ====>>

* In Alabama, prison guards are forbidden from referring to their spouses as "the old ball 'n' chain".

* In Los Angeles, it's illegal for a waiter to tell a customer "I'm really an actor".

* In Indiana, it's against the law to dress "Barbie" in "Kens" clothes.

* In Sedona, Arizona, it's illegal to lie about your astrological sign.

* In Texas, it's illegal to threaten somebody with an UNLOADED gun.

If I remember correctly, there use to be a law in Tennessee where a man had to run in front of the car his wife was driving and he would have to be holding a flag. Don't know if it's true, but that one always gets pulled into any conversations I've participated in when people were discussing old and
slightly weird laws on the state's books. I'm sure there are many more out there if I wasn't too lazy to go about and search for them.

On the island of Guernsey, it is illegal for men to knit in July and August. (this actually made sense when it became law - the fishermen used to knit sweaters called Guernseys to sell for extra cash, but in those months they should have been putting their extra cash producing efforts towards bringing in the harvest on the island instead of knitting!)

Everything has a reason why this law was made i could make things up but i will leave it to someone else just remember your government was working on these laws when something esle could have been worked on.
