An interesting topic! Do you think our ambitions tend to evolve as we grow up? :)

I always wanted to live & work in London & get to a level where i'd earn good money. I work in fairly high end real estate & get to meet lots of interesting people from all over the world. Feeling secure is important to me but i'm not materialistic. I really love it especially now i work from home most days. I guess i'm truly blessed as they say!

I had no particular ambition except to leave school and start working as soon as possible.
I toyed about becoming an air traffic controller but was put off by a BOAC pilot who suggested joining BOAC as a commercial sales apprentice, best thing I ever did.

Originally, I wanted to be a policeman but I was too short at age 16. I then decided to try for IT, as it paid well, and managed to get into that, so I guess I my ambition was fulfilled.

I wanted to be a biologist of sorts, breed the worlds endangered species. So no. But I start with my plan B shortly.

Yes I rose to Executive levels in my career and beyond! I have a 38 year full time working history behind me and the sky really has been the limit and I have thoroughly enjoyed myself! These days I hope to retire in the next 6 years so take things slower and calmly which is exactly what I need as my working life comes to an end!
