Bonnie is home after her operation today

She is very subdued, but I think pleased to be home. We have not heard a murmur from her. Speaking of which the vet could hear no heart murmur when she was under anaesthetic, which is a great relief.
We have painkillers to give her tomorrow and Saturday. No exercise other than going outside for toileting until she has her stitches removed in 10 days.
I am so glad it’s over, and she is home again. It has been a very long day.

Those cloud collars are the best sort, we had that for our last dog when he was neutered. Tilly was 7 when we had her and already 'done' hope Bonnie gets on ok, I didn't know they gave pain killers for that operation. Reply

Bless her little heart, she looks somewhat bewildered... It's so difficult when you can't explain to them, and they can't tell you what they're feeling, isn't it :(
All good wishes for Bonnie's recovery and good health xx

Hope Bonnie is feeling better soon. For the next day or two she may be glad to forego her walks but not sure that pleasure will last ten days. Reply

Good news, and heart murmurs are often misdiagnosed in dogs especially young ones.Glad you got here a doughnut rather than the dreaded cone of shame! Reply
