How do you relieve itchy bug bites?

No matter what I use, I am always so itchy. I tend to scratch and that makes it worse and the bite more swollen/swells up. Do you have any recommendations on what you use or do? Thanks in advance!

1. Benzocaine ointment. (Look for the highest strength, 20%). 2. Campho-Phenique liquid. (Rub in, very gently, with a cotton swab.) Both wear off after a time, but may be repeated. I've used both, but not at the same time. Reply

I use hydrocortisone and if it still itches use lotion that has aloe vera in the ingredients. Aloe vera also helps with sunburns. Reply

I have tried many creams but for bug bites alcohol helps most of all. I use hand sanitizer because it is mostly alcohol and not as messy. Reply
