Many doctors do charge for missed appointments, but not if you call them and tell them that you cannot attend. Many people fail to even call the doctors surgery to tell them that they cannot attend, and to me this is quiet annoying, and yes should have to pay something, as it means that some one else cannot get seen sooner, as my GP there is like a 2 week wait Reply

OH swing! I am sorry to hear these symptoms! Yes many doctors charge. At my medical centre some charge $30 a visit but its up to you if you want to see them or not. And cancellation doesn't attract a fee, even on the day. Reply

A lot of doctors do charge Swing however we are always told beforehand that this will happen. I have cancelled on the same day and never been charged. As far as your liver goes I really feel for you. You definitely are going through the wringer at the moment my friend. Take care and keep us informed. Thinking of you! Reply

Most doctors charge a fee if you miss your appointment these days, so guess you will have to pay it. At least with kidney disease you can drink, so flushing your system would be helpful for it but do see another GP as soon as you can for proper treatment to be started. Hope you will be on the up and up very soon, swing. Look after yourself and take care. Reply

Thinking of you lovely girl. I have upped the prayer intake for you. What are the doctors saying/doing to try and get you through all this pain etc. Reply

I would discount any advice from friends , everyone has opinions .
The liver is the largest organ inside your body , and it's purpose is to filter the foods and drinks that you consume in order rid your body of toxins . The kidney's are also filters for your blood . I would suggest you see a doctor asap , explain all of your ailments and request an Ultrasound , MRI , CT , or Endoscopy , as far as the liver is concerned , it is pretty resilient and can repair itself . You just have to find out the source of your symptoms , it may be nothing or you may need some type of medication .
Whatever , for your own peace of mind , have it checked out . as for the $10 dollars , my medical centre charges $25 , so be it ! Good Luck
