Something for night owls to watch later ...

At 02.00 , Film 4 is airing this charming British film comedy , all about the angst of first love . Hilariously , the lad's 2 obsessions combine , with cricket commentator John Arlott providing the voice-over for the lad's disastrous attempts at getting to kiss the love of his life , Ann .
I'll no doubt be up , so I'll watch it , over 30 years after I last saw it .

Vaguely remember it, though I don't recall it being particularly interesting, and I don't believe I identified with anything in it except the main character not liking the colour of his hair. Mine is pretty much the same colour as Jean-Pierre Rives, which I found trying at the time... Reply

It's a charming little film, I saw it again recently on .. Amazon prime, I think!? ... But tbh in that vein my absolute favourite is Hope And Glory ... "Please God, let the bombs fall on Mrs Evans', she's a cow!" ;) Lol x Reply
