metric system in schools

did you learn the metric system in school?
i did not, but my son did , and i was so confused trying to help him learn something , i knew nothing about, lol.

We only had english in school but in construction I had to learn metric.
Not to mention when they weigh me at the doctor's?

I did, but I don't recall it. I got a conversion chart on my fridgerator to help me when I'm cooking.
I sure wish United States would adopt the metric system. It makes a lot more sense (just move the decimal) than our stupid system. Reply
