I Miss It So Much!

A few years ago,our furnace went out. When they replaced the furnace, against our wishes, they replaced the thermostats. They changed our working dial thermostats to digital ones. I hate them! They haven't worked since they installed them.

Do you prefer the dial or digital thermostats?

Thank you for your opinion.

Please stay healthy

Have a great day!

We still have the round dial like this one in the picture, our system was installed in 1991 and is still going strong, hope we get a few more years out of it. Reply

Two years ago, I had my thermostat placement changed from a wall by the front door to an inside wall with a Honeywell wireless digital. Love it. Last month I had a new furnace and air conditioner installed and the workman said my existing one is better than the one that came with the furnace. Good to hear. Reply

I have a "smart" thermostat that anticipates when we get up and go to bed and adjusts the temperature accordingly. Reply

Seems like the digital ones need to be "played with" in order for them to work properly... Reply

Had a 25 year old thermostat replaced with digital. Love it, should have done it much sooner. With the old one, it was anyone's guess what the temp was or where to set it for a specific temp. Reply

45+ years in our present house--no thermostat(s). Our wall gas heater went out awhile ago, we now use small electric space heaters which work well when needed. Reply
