What do you think about mailing trash back to tourists?

Authorities in the popular Khao Yai National Park near Bangkok will start sending rubbish back to litterers and an offenders will also be registered with the police.

If you think how that is possible here is the answer. All visitors to the park have to register with their addresses, making it easy for rangers to track them down if they leave rubbish behind.
Those people which can be punish with up to five years in prison and hefty fines.

Environment Minister Varawut Silpa-archa posted pictures of trash collected in cardboard parcels ready to be shipped on his Facebook account. He added very interesting and polite message which saying: "You forgot these things at Khao Yai National Park" and also he is saying "Your trash - we'll send it back to you"

Khao Yai National Park which is north-east of the Thai capital Bangkok stretches across more than 2,000 sq km and is very popular with hikers. Also, it is the oldest national park in Thailand and very known for its waterfalls, animals and scenery.

I think that is very interesting idea and it is alright to show the people that rules are the same for everyone. In those park lives a lot of animals it could be dangerous for them if they try to eat those garbage which people throw away there.

What do you think?
Do you think that punishment of prison is too much?
Would you like to see this system here in Ireland?

Thank you.

I think everyone who throws litter, sometimes bags of it, along the roadside should have it redelivered to their front door if they could be traced, but I’m sure they don’t leave evidence of their name and address in the litter. Reply
