Dear Influencers,

Christmas is right around the corner and with that comes the Christmas rush! For many, it’s the busiest time of the year running around from one event to the next and at the same time having to squeeze in time to find the perfect gift for your loved ones!

Here at Toluna we’re bringing to you our tips on beating the Christmas Rush in order to be more relaxed this relaxed holiday season:

❄ Plan ahead - There's no such thing as starting too early! Know which events you’re attending, how many people you'll be hosting and the Christmas shopping that you'll need to do!

❄ Get organised - Start off by making a list… just like kids would for Santa Claus and don't forget to check it twice! Writing everything down will not only help stay organised but ensures any important details won’t be missed – as well as saving time and money!

❄ Be proactive - Start your holiday shopping early and avoid long lines! And not only for holiday shopping but also planning your Christmas meal! Remember, the early bird always catches the worm!

❄ Set a budget - It’s easy to go overboard when buying gifts for our loved ones, but don’t forget it’s the thought that counts! Set budgets for gifts, food and decorations! Meanwhile, don’t forget to check out our Rewards Centre for some stocking fillers!

❄ It’s okay to say NO! - You don’t need to attend every social gathering, there's no obligation or requirement to attend.

How do you beat the holiday rush? Comment on our topic to share your best tips and tricks to beat the holiday rush for a chance to win 500 points! The winners will be chosen randomly.

Have a jolly day!

I usually start the day after Christmas. Especially if you are looking for candles and gift sets. Of course anything holiday related is always marked way down. This way I can get a great deal on some very nice gifts for next Christmas and save money at the same time. All of my other shopping I do through the year, and finish up on Black Friday. This year it saved us over $2000.

I did all of my shopping online. As soon as I saw something that a person would like (starting in October) I purchased it so I would not have to stress if it was no longer available. I als just take a moment to breathe and that seemed to get me through.

My mother always started Christmas shopping in February and was always done by October. I'm keeping her spirit alive by doing the same.

I try to start Christmas shopping months before Christmas-just picking up a couple things per month, so by the time Dec rolls around I am nearly done, and spread the cost out over several months!

I really like my shopping that I did on my trip to Europe just before Christmas.
