My tips for saving the ocean and it's animals are:
1. Buy less plastic
2. Don't buy cans with plastic holders, these could get wrapped around animals necks and kill them.
3. Don't litter, if you are using something with plastic and need to get rid of it, don't throw it on the ground, put it in a recycling bin or garbage can because animals can find these things and get hurt or killed by them by trying to eat them or getting trapped in them, further more they can blow into the ocean and kill the fish.
4. Beach day; when you go to the beach, take time to pick up trash if you see it, and walk along the water checking for trash and debris.
5. Teach others; tell your friends and family about plastic and the harm it does to animals and sea life.
6. Grocery Store; at the store, buy reusable bags instead of using plastic ones, it is safer for the environment.
7. Avoid plastic straws, these can also get into the water and harm fish.
8. If you buy tins cans, never throw them on the ground these are a danger to animals and sea life also.
9. Glass is also a danger to animals, so make sure if you buy this it is recycled properly.
10. when buying anything from the store, think to yourself, is this a danger to animals and sea life, could this pollute the earth, is this recyclable?
