Do you believe Bitcoin is a good thing or bad thing??? Do you use Bitcoin, or have you ever used Bitcoin???

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency. It is a decentralized digital currency without a central bank or single administrator that can be sent from user to user on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network without the need for intermediaries. Transactions are verified by network nodes through cryptography and recorded in a public distributed ledger called a blockchain. Bitcoin was invented by an unknown person or group of people using the name Satoshi Nakamoto and was released as open-source software in 2009.

Undecided. It will have to be around a lot longer, with excellent proven results, before I trust it. Reply

I've never dealt with Bitcoin, although I've read a lot about it. To me, a really better money would be defined in terms of a specified weight of a precious metal, such as gold, at a specified purity, and it would be redeemable in that metal on demand. This is what a true "hard money" is. Reply

It may become a universal form of currency but for now...
It’s about as valuable as Monopoly money. IFor the moment it’s not recognized as legitimate currency in any of the global markets. There’s no verifiable equivalents like bitcoins to dollars or bitcoins to Euros. Bitcoins to Yen. Soo.. in other words if I was currently a business owner... I would not accept personal checks or bitcoin vouchers.
