Well I would say Ireland or Paris. But honestly I feel you can make any city romantic if you are happy and with the one you love.

The Greek Islands are very romantic- even if you Go there without having a partner yet! It is a wonderful place to have a summer fling and fall in “love” with the Med Sea and volcanic hot spas, every island offers something different (there are 7-8 all within ferry rides from Athens and Corfu (where the famous “Pink Palace” is located, is a short puddle jumper away). I went to IOS in the summer of 1997 with my best friend from college, UF, and we planned to spend a few days in each island. We met 12 Dutch guys in the hotel we were at on night 1. One of them was the most amazing man I’d ever laid my eyes on (and believe it or not I’d been pining away for a guy I’d just started seeing back home). And the minute I laid eyes on “R” my life changed. We spent every second together for 10 days. We never left IOS. My ferry tickets to the other islands are in frames and the Dutch guys are lifelong friends. We have met up in Holland, Spain, and here in the US. AND to show my age- we wrote LETTERS for the first couple years. I sent them.copies of pictures. Bc there was no emailing them. Or Facebook. Or all this stuff. It was still one of the most romantic AND fun times of my life. I wouldn’t want to go back bc it was the best. And you can’t top the best.
