I'm do not read a book more and more but do i like more watching movies much but "The Notebook" oh! it just convert me. My friend advice me the book and a DVD with it my birthday. i had nothing to do one day so i decided to first read some reviews about the book before reading and watching it, i must say i have never seen so many good reviews about something. well i started reading the book and i was really pissed of when when the parents don't agree but not everything lasts forever right so did their relationship. till i reached the end of the story my thoughts about true love and relationships had changed. It's not necessary the person you meet for the first time to be your lover for a life time so i would say don't give up on love and keep loving. and The actors do ham it up too much, a lot of dark scenes that makes it hard to see, and too many wet scenes but that's just my opinion. This has to be his best screenplay. Picking a good Nicolas Sparks script is like find hay in a needle stack. 6/10. If you like overly sappy melodramas, I recommend this film.
The Notebook is a best movie

The Notebook is the quintessential "chick flick" with all of the romance, drama, and tears without the corny overdone sappy stuff that makes boyfriends roll their eyes. It has a captivating plot which will appeal to both genders with the tear-jerking crescendo that will set the perfect romantic mood. This is a quality movie with engaging dialogue, well developed characters, and an emotionally charged plot that will continue to tug at your heart strings long past the ending credits. You will not mind watching this movie again and again. Perfect for a first date, a rainy day in snuggling on the couch, or even a girls night with a few bottles of wine. I don't know how well this followed the book because I never read it, but I love the movie and cry every time I watch it. I love the way it chronicles the falling in love and makes you fall in love with both of the main characters as they fall in love with each other. You will despair at their separation, rejoice at their reunification, and stand in awe at the power of true undying love and unshakable devotion. This just might restore your faith in the possibility of love.

In the Notebook by Nicholas Sparks, the chemistry of McAdams and Gosling on screen is beautiful. He knows how to get those romantic scenes and the emotions with them on screen. Another part of the The Notebooks strengths is how it shows the real parts of any love story, not only the romance but the hardships. This is where the theme of the film comes out. The movie captures the perfect metaphor about love, showing people how it can last. It also shows how love is closely related to memories.
The film brings up the question: does love still exist if the memories are gone? Memory is not the only component that makes love love however the film shows the theme of how memory plays an essential role. In a way having memories with a person is how you get to know them, and creating memories like Noah and Allie did is why they fell in love and what made their relationship so strong and magical to watch. If you think about your own relationships and the people you love, your mind often goes to the times that brought you happiness with that person. Love is built on those fondest of memories. In the Notebook, the love story between Noah and Allie sends a much bigger message than the two of them ending up together at the end. It shows us true love and the memories that came along with it at the beginning and at the end, and in the end thats all that really matters. The Notebook is a classic love story and appropriate for all ages.
