How do you feel about the Women's March on Washington set to occur tomorrow, for president-elect Donald Trump's first full day in office?
Closed

Over 200,000 people will rally near the U.S. Capitol Saturday morning and then march along the National Mall that afternoon.

Organizers say the march is an effort to “send a bold message” to the incoming Trump administration that women’s rights are human rights.

How do you feel about this?

I don't know why they were marching. I've read some articles explaining one of the main facttors being abortion.
I am not for prochoice if anything I am for pro-responsibility if that was one of their concerns.

I didn't get to see any of it. I knew about it and that was all. I see comments from everyone and see they are mixed. I just hope it was a safe civil march and had a good message.

I thought it was disgraceful, and was an embarrassment to women in general. The foul language the idiots used, the vile threats, plus their foul signs definitely did not represent me or the women I know. I cannot see anything was accomplished. If they want Trump out of office, this did nothing. The celebrities were the very worst.

It is refreshing, reassuring and I applaud those Americans who exercise their right of expression as long as it is non-violent and peaceable!

My thoughts go both ways on this rally, yes women's voices need to be heard, however, some of these celebrity's are in an industry of belittling women for centuries, so why now are they voicing so strongly with Trump in office? I agree his words are harsh but men have been trashing woman for centuries!
As for Madonna's voice, she has been exploiting her body in strong context for year's, are we being double standard here, just asking!

I never felt that my woman's right wasn't a human right. I am sure if I lived in another country where women have no rights, I would feel the need to stand up for myself...and in that case, I would be put to death. Here in the USA, I am incredibly privileged.

I think that the Women's March on Washington or on any city/ town in America is a good, noble idea because it does homage to the brave women who founded the Women's Movement (the suffragettes)However, when it gets too out of control or violent, then it only hurts the cause.
