Do you know the procedure of cloud seeding? Which chemical is used in it?

Clous seeding is the process for artificial raining. China stands first, Russia 2nd having successful practice of cloud seeding. India tried many times, but was not successful.

The most common chemicals used for cloud seeding include silver iodide and dry ice (solid carbon dioxide). Liquid propane, which expands into a gas, has also been used. This can produce ice crystals at higher temperatures than silver iodide. The use of hygroscopic materials, such as salt, is becoming more popular

Today our world is fully depend on science. Sciece is boon because it makes our life easier than before. Now we can travel in cars and reach one place to another in little time. Telephone makes our world more shorter. We can talk to each other even we are on any place of the world. The invention of aeroplane is a revolutionary invention. It makes the world more closer. But science have some bad effects also. We use science for war like tanks, supersonic aircrafts, nuclear bombs etc. these have bad effects on our world. So science have both good and bad effect it is depend on us how we use science for our betterment or for destruction

Cloud seeding, a form of intentional weather modification, is the attempt to change the amount or type of precipitation that falls from clouds, by dispersing substances into the air that serve as cloud condensation or ice nuclei, which alter the microphysical processes within the cloud. The usual intent is to increase precipitation (rain or snow), but hail and fog suppression are also widely practiced in airports.
This image explaining cloud seeding shows the chemical either silver iodine or dry ice being dumped onto the cloud which then becomes a rain shower. The process shown in the upper right is what is happening in the cloud and the process of condensation to the introduced chemicals.

silver nitrate, calcium chloride and sodium chloride are used in it. firstly, identification of clouds by weather radar is must.
