Is it ok to leave eggs(in the shell) out of the refrigerator?

I think they can be left out for a week.

When I was in the military we would go on 60 day cruises up along the North Atlantic. our fresh eggs were dipped in something called isinglass (?) that sealed the pours of the shell and made them so they didn't need refrigeration. By then end of our patrols they were still good but had picked up a distinctive bad taste. My Grandmother had some chickens and would get the eggs every morning. She kept the eggs in a metal colander on the counter. They always got used in a day or two so they never rotted or sprouted chicks. :-)

Um, I really don't think that is a very good idea. I definitely would not eat them if they had been left out of the refrigerator.

IT'S OK TO LEAVE THEM IN THE SHELL AS LONG AS THERE REFRIGERATED BUT IT'S BETTER TO PEEL AND PUT IN THE FRIDGE

No way! I wouldn't eat them after a few hours. Some people do eat them after a day though but I think their crazy.

Of course but probably depends on climate and how long. Don't leave them out too long if it is 100 F in the house

We did not refrigerate eggs in Spain. It's fairly common practice in Europe, or at least that's what I was told.
