Do you remember your third grade teacher's name?

As a matter of fact, I do. Her name was Mrs. Richardson. She encouraged me to continue my education as she saw that I was a very smart little girl. I did indeed continue my education and have made a comfortable life for myself.

Yes, Mrs. Barnes. She was a pretty good teacher, but she was not my favorite teacher through out all of my school years.

Yes. Mrs. Webster. We all thought she looked liked the wicked witch of the west. And she was mean, too.

Yes I do - Her name was Miss Hill and she was the best Teacher I had in all my School Years. That was in 1947.
After I Retired from the Air Force, I joined our Local Senior Center. Couldn't believe it, when I ran into her. That was about 12 years ago and she came Every Day down there - until she died just last year.

Yes, I do remember my 3rd grade teacher's name. It was Mrs Carlson.
This was the first year that they gave 8 ounce bottles of milk and a graham cracker for a mid morning snack (around 1949-50). I did not (and stil do not) like milk, but I took in my "milk" money each week. At a parents/teachers night, Mrs Carlson gave my parents a check for what I had paid each week (about 25 cents a week), and told me the charge was for the milk and the graham cracker was free. It was coincidental that this was the only year we did not have school pictures.

I supposed if I thought long enough, I could come up with it, but I am old (50), so I don't dwell on things too much in the way past.
