This question was inspired by another member's question - and you know who you are :) - I think i would want my tombstone to read... 'She was kind to all great and small' or 'She shared the gift of laughter' or 'Like the turtle she stuck her neck out'
I would like mine to read that I valued and loved my friends and family and did the best she could to make a difference in the world because I value my family and friends the most, and although I wish I could do more, I try to help out with charities and causes. I wish I could help more financially, but I know I'm doing the most I can right now. If I am ever finally in a better financial state I have always wanted to donate to the Humane Society and Sponsor children of other countries so they can have food, an education, etc. I wish I could give more to local charities also, but I do give my time.
Exhausted but spirited mother of 2 good boys who loved their mother for making their lives great although she did it alone. Can that all fit..will shrink the font..lol.
He loved and laughed often He spoke only when it was necessary But when he did, they alll listened Although he was a man of few words, He always had a meaning. Ken 17
Ooooh I really do not want to answer this. I have seen these caskets in Toronto, where your body is placed in the roots of a tree. You supply the fertilizer for the first part of the trees life and you do not put all that poisonous junk into the ground. I am not a tree hugger, but I would like a tree to hug me when I go!It is not legal in Alberta... Yet. Maybe when I get a few years older I will petition for it. I would not have a tombstone, but I think the birds that will nest will speak well of me.
