I sat quietly whiile others started talking. After a few minutes had gone by, I told her thanx. I explained how my children and I had no vehicle since the van had gotten totaled, I didn't have a job at that point,( John had talked me into staying at home after we found out we were pg again)( Then when David was born he insisted I stay home with the children) how the ins. co. refused to pay till the murder was solved, and how we had to move in with my parents again. ( which by the way I wouldn't have been able to do if I hadn't kept there house notes paid till dad went back to work) She went on to tell me that her friend was killed 30 days after John by the same cousin that was with him that night. She also said she knew where the gun was hidden. It wasn't 10 minutes after she had told me all the info i needed to know when the officers came to take everyone to there cells where' they'd stay till their court date. They told me I had to stay in the holding cell. They were having some problem with finding the paper warrant. So i thanked the young girl again and hugged her like she were a family member I hadn't seen in years. that was the last time I saw her. I was in the holding cell about another 20 mins. when the officer came and said i could go. I had been there close to 12 hours in all. I asked why he was letting me go. He said it was a mistake, that the warrant in the computer shouldn't have been issued because I had showed up for court. And there wasn't one on paper for that reason. So I just happened to turn myself in at the precise momment to meet this wonderful young lady , that gave me crucial information I needed to get our lives back together. By the time I had gotten out the Homicide Detective had gone home. My parents had just gotten to the police station to try to bail me out,so there was my ride back home. I told them what I had learned, and that 1st thing in the morning to bring me back so I could talk face to face with the Detective. (It was my mom who had brought me to meet with the dect. at first and had went home to see if she could find the paperwork where I had gone to court).
I called the next day to make sure the Dect. would be there before drivng an hour to his office. He was in and said to come on down. When I started telling him what she said, he was looking at me in disbelief. When I finished he had asked me the girls name.Crap! I didn't remember her name!! So he told me to hang on and he'd get the photos of the girls that were brought in yesterday. Thank God! I thought i was finished without a name! When he came back with the photos I went through them and hers wasn't there! He said "Are you sure?" I said I was positive, she was young, beautiful, and had lots of long braids. Then he asked me to sit down, but I couldn't I Knew she was there and Knew there was some way tgo prove it. I also Knew the look he was giving me meant he thought I was making it up!!!! I had my son at the hospital today and while I waited for him for 3 hours I was reading the dictionary. (Odd past time but it kills time fast). I have been seeing the word anarchy in book titles and tv shows yet never knew the meaning. Now I do. Do you?
There was a party at a club where there should not have been one. It was a birthday party. There was not the proper licensing, and there were too many people in the building. At one point, a fight started. One of the two people injured, was stabbed in the neck. His friends tried to help him but could not. He died the other day. He was just 17 years old and a star athlete at one of the local schools.
Even with toy guns we teach our kids that you do not point guns at anyone. We correct the kids when they even accidently piont the gun at someone. Our three year old son even puts on a little orange vest.
It was just announced that George Anthony, Casey Anthony's father, had an affair around the same time that Caylee Anthony, Casey's daughter, went missing. She has given intimate details about Caylee' murder that George told her; is this damaging to the defense? The woman, who is named River Benhaida, claims that George told her that Caylee's death was caused by an accident that snowballed. George Anthony, of course, says she's a liar, but this woman's family is backing her up. If this allegation is true, what in the world does this say? Why did Casey, her parents, her brother, and everyone else who may have known the details of what happened not come forward in the first place? I really do not know if what this woman says is true; right now, it is her word against George's, but it would definitely NOT surprise me if it were true. I honestly believe that Casey Anthony's parents and brother are DEFINITELY covering up something. I truly think it is sad to say, but they know exactly what happened, and all of them (meaning Casey and her family) have lied to police. I can definitely understand if there were some sort of accident; unfortunately it happens every day. Because Caylee's remains were skeletonized when found, the coroner could not directly determine how Caylee died. However, there are several theories. One theory is that the baby drowned in a pool. Another is obviously that Casey intentionally murdered her daughter. One other theory opens another can of worms, which I will try to explain as briefly as possible. If you do not know about this, Casey Anthony loved to party. There is a theory that Casey Anthony was using homemade choroform and knocking the baby out so she could go and party. The theory is that the night Caylee died may have been intentional or it may have been accidental, but that either way that she was drugged with chloroform and then duct tape was wrapped around her mouth and nose. I am not sure what the prosecution will try to prove, but I think that the last theory is what they will go for. However, if this new information is true, will this hurt the trial? It would definitely squash the prosecution's intentional murder and death penalty case, but it would also squash the defense's case that somebody else murdered Caylee. What are your thoughts on this?
So, since she was determined to tell me how she knew about Johns MURDER, ( in front of all these other ladies, that could possibly wind up getting her hurt ) I needed to know, so I sat quietly and listened intently. She was around 21, had her hair in braids. She was a very attractive young lady. She was arrested for shop lifting. She had stolen a toy for her sons b-day present, which she said she just couldn't afford. She seemed a little nieve for her age. She said that on Sat. the 21 at 12:15 am, a friend of hers climbed in her window as he had done lots of times before. But this night was different. He was freaking out she explained, he had a 6 pack of beer minus 1. He told her that he had just killed a white man.( I tried once again to warn her not to say his name, but she said she Had to tell what she knew). She said she aked him what he was talking about. He told her that he and his cousin were out and had been smoking crack for about 5 days, with little to no sleep. They were standing at a red light waiting to cross. Then a van pulled to a stop at the red light. John had the window down and was listening to music. The 2 cousins started to cross the street and then 1 of them had decided to walk up to Johns window and ask if he could give them a ride down the road a ways. John's alot like me when it comes to helping others and giving them trust when he meets them. So John had said he would, and they got in. The guy she knew said he had gotten in the back. He had made the introductions and waited till they came to the next red light, and pulled out his gun. He told John to turn to the right.John was caught in conversation with the other guy and didn't know what was going on with the guy in the back. And according to her friend neither did his cousin. So John turned to the right, after a block the guy in the back told him to stop and let them out there. Once he stopped the guy in the front told John thanx and started to get out. But before the guy in the front opened the door, his cousin had the gun to john's head telling him to give him all his money. He told her John tried to explain that he had only had $20.00 with him when he left home, and that he had stopped and bought beer right before picking them up. He said he was extreamly wired from lack of sleep and the need for more crack that when john had reached for the glovebox to get his wallet out, he paniced and fired 2 shots in to John's head before he had realized what he had done. He told her that his cousin was freakin out for he had no idea of his cousins plans. The first shot had gone into his right temple, reflex turned his head to the left and the next shot went into his neck right at the base of his skull. Imediately when shot he had hit the accelerator. He ran right off the road and crashed into a tree. The guy in the front jumped out and ran, Her friend said he searched for Johns wallet and found it in the glove box. He grabbed the 6 pack and split, and went straight to her house. There's no way I can explain how I was feeling or what was going through my mind hearing the last minutes of my soul mates remaining time before death takes him. (look for pt.4)
I have a Pit Bull that I took home with me when she came into the animal control shelter I was volunteering at. She is the sweetest, most relaxed dog I've ever had. Was I taking a risk bringing her home to all my other dogs? Yes, but I would be with any breed of dog. Any dog can turn on you that's why you have to do your research on the animal before you bring them home. It's a matter of using the brain God gave you and doing things in a logical way versus just killing them because it's easier.
So I was a person that so wanted to be in love, and always fell for the wrong guy. After knowing a friend for about 3 years and with the constant travel and trying to keep paying my bills and keeping my parents and siblings afloat,I allowed him to talk me into room-mating since he lived close to my work. i was there for a little over 2 years. One day we had gotten into a really big arguement, he had gotten me so mad that i went to strike him, he caught my hand and pinned me against the wall, then kissed me so pasionatly I melted. After that we were a couple. we were together for another 4 years. One night he was going to a book store to get a new Kiss magazine,(He was a true fan!) anyway about 2 hours went by and i was getting frantic. He wasn't answering his phone or pager. After 3 more hours went by a Police officer showed up at my door to tell me he had been shot in the head twice, while in the van driving and wound up crashing into a tree and was robbed. At the time we lived in a basement apartment below his mother. He was her only child and she was around 68 when he died. My heart was broken into a million pieces. I STILL hurt today. If I hadn't of had my children I'd of died with him, there is no doubt about that. I had wanted a love that would last forever and I have it Still to this day! He had a small insurance policy i had no idea about. But since he was murdered the ins. wouldn't pay til someone ws arrested and sentenced. About 6 months after he was murdered I was called in to talk with the homicide detective. he was treating me like a suspect because he had heard about the $15,000.00 ins. policy. I was horrified he would think such a thing. When he had finished questioning me,and I was getting ready to leave he said I had a traffic warrant and told me to go down stairs and turn myself in. I knew I had taken care of this ticket and it was a mistake. So I went down and turned myself in. They put me in a holding cell tilll they could get it figured out. I had started out with just a couple of people in the cell with me to 12 hours later there was over 30 women. We were all taking turns talking about ourselves, when it was my turn I told them about John being murdered and why I was in jail, this girl told me she knew who killed him. everyone got quiet. She told me what night it was when he was shot, the time and what beer he drank. I was stunned. I was also scared for her because 90% of the women knew each other or friends. I didn't wan't her to give me a name with all these witnesses. She refused to be quiet. (check out part 3)
I think this would be ideal. I am all for privacy, however...with as many shootings and drugs that are happening in this day and age, I feel as if we have lost our right to privacy. We are losing too many children and teachers to violence and perhaps if we could find the signs ahead of time, we might be able to stop something before it happens.
I've been hearing quite a bit on this subject as of late. As a kid, I know I wouldn't like this idea. However...perhaps getting help early on for those might help? What do you think?
