To me their is four types of music artist. 1 The type that when they sing they put there heart n soul in the music, 2 The type the has the voice to sing, The type that can sing has good lyrics and music to back them up, 4 The type that can't sings have no lyrics but have good beats. I know i would like to hear some artist do some oldies and give em a new twist. My artist and old songs would be 1 Let me be your Angel= artist to sing Alicia Keys 2 Thanks for My Child = artist to sing Whitney Houston 3 Black butterfly = artist to sing Mary J 4 Lady in my life = artist to sing Ne Yo 5 Love TKO = artist to sing Usher or Chris Brown Their is other song but this is just to name a few, what song would you like to hear?
I live in the same town where I was born. I moved away throughout my twenties but returned here around the age of 31. I never thought I'd want to come back but it is very important to me to be close to my family and I like this town now more as an adult than I did as a kid.
There was a restaurant in Pensacola called Hopkins Boarding House that was a favorite of many especially on fried chicken days. It was unique in thst the restaurant was in a large old fashioned southern style home. You would go signed in and go and sit in rockers on a large wrappped around porch waiting for your turn to be called to the table. You could have all you could eat,the meal was served family style with the different dishes being in bowls that you passed around to the otheres sitting at the table(they had several large tables that sat a large number of people-you never knew who you would meet-many times I met people from many different areas of the country) The meal generally consisted of 2 entres and a alarge variety of fresh cooked vegetables. The fried chicken days were the busiest. I hated when it closed due to servere hurricane damage.
I was directly affected by hurrican Ivan. After spending three days at work(I work as a aide in a Nursing Home) I came home to find my apartment destroyed by the roof being tore off. I had to move in with a family member inlaws because it was a couple of years before rentals begin to be available again in the region. It brought me closer to family and made me check where my priorites are. I thank God that I volunteered to work the day day of the hurricane, becuse if not I would had been in the apartmnet at the time--God was looking out for me.
