As a student struggling to pay for college, I think that without an education students of my generation , who are struggling as well, will find it harder to find jobs thus leading to not even being able to purchase a car, truck or S.U.V. somewhere down the road. This, in turn, hurts not only the student but also the dealerships.
Yes I will I think he is doing a great job as President he is just be held back by whatever the Republicans can do to hold him back no reason not to vote for him what do you think?
I just don't understand why everyone is holding out on the American people? There is a lot of stubborn people in Washington DC, that feel that keeping their constituents happy is more important than say "Joe the Plumber", especially the Republicans who are in cahoots with America's biggest Companies and their Lobbyist. Let's just remember that we tried the Republicans way (Top- to Down Economics) for the past 8 years, and that has got us into the trouble that we are in now. Everyone agrees that we need change, but no one wants to agree on what that change should be. Over 53% of America's jobs/economy comes from the small local business owner. That being said, I strongly believe that we need to reward those Americans, and that we invest into them (creation of a Bottom - Up Economy). Remember this great country was created with those small local businesses first, not Corporate America. So if everyone in DC would look to the Average American for their inspiration, I think we would find our concerns being addressed and solutions being enforced a lot sooner than they are now!
I think the global financial institution has made enough money with the global government bailout and has had enough time to unwind the leveraging they were doing before. It is time to have a natural recession to happen.
Personally I think so. With the latest revelations that State Farm Insurance Company warned the government in 2004 about these problems, and Toyota knew I certainly think it is going to give them a big black eye. This is the type of thing that is often said about the American companies without a whole lot of proof.
This is going to help the American auto industry because they have been improving quality greatly for years, the fact that Toyota was leaving all these cars on the road with safety issues is a big concern and they should be held responsible for this in the free market. Hopefully the American companies can jump on this and help save themselves, so they can stop stealing money in the form of bailouts.
Does the current minimum wage keep up with the cost of living? Can people just starting out in the work force really be expected to prosper? Couldn't Washington offer us more since they are spending billions on bailouts?
