thinking about charity if every one who has a job had 10p ish a week taken out of there wages and given to a charity pot.we could get the powers that be to share it out accordingly. do you think that would stop all the tin shakers (don't know what to call them) please don't get me wrong I am not against any one collecting for charity. but I don't think people would mind doing it this way. interested to hear what you all think.???

Well undoubtedly the health reform is fore the better. Think about it, 30-40 million people in the US had NO access to health care whatsoever and now 95% will be covered in the US. The insurance companies cannot reject anyone with pre-existing conditions or seriously ill children/adults. It's for the better, face it republicans.

But we are off on our dream holiday and he has a broken hand, will they allow him to go on rides if they see its in plaster? Anyone got any info on this or suggestions on what to do.

Well, having a nice weekend with the sunshine then on Sunday decided to cook myself a bacon butty as a treat. Don't know what I did but suddenly had agonising pains in my left leg. Could not walk and had to yell for my hubby. He decided to call for an ambulance and off I was carted to hospital. After 4 hours they told me I had seeping ligaments behind my left knee. Told me the pain would get even worse (which it is doing) and to completely rest my leg for at least the next four weeks. They gave me a pair of crutches which I kept falling off, have to stay upstairs as the only bathroom is there and cannot do a thing. Going to the loo is a utter pantomime and my poor hubby has got to wait on me hand and foot till I can walk again - not fair on him as he is disabled himself but the angel is trying. about the only thing I can do is use my computer so I will probably be answering EVERYBODIES polls and topics. Four weeks seems an aawful long time not to be able to do anything physical. Oh well if you see crutches flying past your window that will be me.....
