There was a party at a club where there should not have been one. It was a birthday party. There was not the proper licensing, and there were too many people in the building. At one point, a fight started. One of the two people injured, was stabbed in the neck. His friends tried to help him but could not. He died the other day. He was just 17 years old and a star athlete at one of the local schools.

It's wrong, but it happens oh so much - It's wrong, but it happens oh so much. Many people wake up thinking they can run a business without the proper knowledge of what permits or licenses are needed. It is sad about what happened. To whomever owned that club, it is a hard lesson and a tragedy what happened to the boy.

The last couple of interviews I went on were kinda strange - The last couple of interviews I went on were kinda strange. There were 4 0r 5 people in the room around a table asking me questions bout what I would do in certain situations like: if a co-worker did something illegal and I saw her, would I report it and what woud I do if a co-worker made me angry and what would I do if a co-worker told me to do something that wasn't in my job description. Things like that. I thought they were very strange interviews. But I've talked to other people and they have had the same kind of interviews.

I was let go from my job because of a disability. It was a job that I loved and wanted back desperately. I started filing a complaint with the Americans with Disabilites Act but the procedures I had to go through were so complicated it wasn't something I felt I could do without legal council. However, without a job there was no way I could afford a lawyer. I was stuck, so that got away with it.

They may be able to guide you where to turn for assistance or even to take the case where you pay a percentage only if you wim. There also may be a legal aid council (or under some other name) in your town that may be able to help.

I am sure it must some error. No one would try to censer me because they didn't like my topics or survey subject. I never post anything offensive, sexual, or obscene in nature. Would you just reward your polls and topic and resubmit them?

This is one of those sad situations that I don't think anything can - This is one of those sad situations that I don't think anything can be done. I guess you could send Toluna an email but I am not sure it would do any good or if you would even get an answer as to why it was closed early or who actually closed it. I have not been here long enough to tell you if you could resubmit them or not. I would think the system would not allow it but then again maybe it can't tell if they are the same as earlier posts.

If the Toluna members keep complaining by email maybe Toluna can be convinced to stop this unethical pratice. This may happen in business a lot but it's up toToluna's member to do what they can to discourage unethical behavior. I know Toluna expects it's member to be honest and ethical when taking surveys. I'm not advicating that Toluna members intentionally give inaccurate information on survey becaus this would cause their surveys to be unable to prediicted the make. I wonder what other Toluna member think and feel.

They will sometimes ask if you know anything about their company and you'll be very embarrassed if you don't! That happened to me. Also prepare questions to ask THEM. You're not the only one being interviewed. An interview is a chance to find out what they have to offer YOU! They like a person who asks questions. It shows them that you are also searching for a good fit! I would look online to see what the top interview questions are and prepare answers for those. Things like 'what are your strengths?', 'What are your weaknesses?', 'What can you bring to our company?', etc. Preparing for an interview is like a small job in itself but if you're prepared, it will pay off! I think it more interesting why prospective employees would choose a - I think it more interesting why prospective employees would choose a place like Facebook or MySpace instead of CareerBuilder, monster, etc. Employers are looking at so MANY things these days not necessarily directly connected to how good and knowledgable a worker you're going to be, guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I am actually surprised that they haven't taken Saturdays off the - I am actually surprised that they haven't taken Saturdays off the work week yet. Maybe that will help keep the cost of stamps from increasing every 3 months.: ) I won't miss it-like you that is one less day to worry about unwanted mail coming to the house!!

I really don't mind that the Post office will stop delivering mail on Saturdays, it's one less day to get any bills. I think it's a great way for the post office to save money.

I have always hated this term. In fact when looking for a job, if this was on the ad, I would not apply. It's not that I'm not a team player. I am more than willing to help out wherever needed at my job especially if others are willing to help out as well. But something about those words is like scraping fingernails on a chalkboard to me. I'm willing to help but I don't want to labeled a "team Player". I don't know why. I am a rebel at heart and maybe to me being a team player means I'm giving up some of my identy like following the herd. I'm not sure why I just don't want to be labeled a "team player"

With the economy in recession I feel stores to promote more business should bring the layaway back. Even if they have to charge service fees. The poorer person on limited income could get more for their familys and pay in installments and still get the quality products they can't afford otherwise!

I have never used layaway, but I remember when I was a child my mom - I have never used layaway, but I remember when I was a child my mom used it alot for christmas. I guess it is a good idea so you do not have to come up with all the money at once.

They should still be required to pay or give the reward that was offered upfrount.If found to be a common practice they should be baned from surveys.

Toluna is making a profit- are you? This company says it is a survey company which offers points for the successful completion of surveys. The points are then converted into cash. Throughout the year the company arbitrarily changes the number of points needed to convert to cash to delay payment, This year, around January 2010, the company arbitrarily decided that points will “expire” after a year- so that any points earned before January expired, leaving the client with nothing- no money paid for time and service given to the company for surveys already completed. Toluna deliberately did this to avoid payment to the clients. Check out Toluna Scam- see how many people have been hurt by this fraudulent company. It's up tp you. i have completed sooooo many surveys and haven't gotten any points for them. i have written toluna multiple times about this but to no avail. they just don't seem to care enough to answer anything i have written them about. it's quite discouraging. they have made some good changes. but this doesn't make up for all the time i took to complete all those surveys or the money that i feel i am being screwed out of. i also noticed yesterday that when i went to sign into my greenfield account that they said toluna and greenfield accounts have merged and all greenfield points will now be added to toluna. i for one don't like this, greenfield has always answered my emails when i had a problem. they also applied your surveys quickly and paid quickly. so are you missing points as well?
