This show has become my new guilty pleasure. Well anyways I am a 300, Gladiator fan so if you like those two movies then you are sure o love this new original series. I have been hooked since episode one. There has been a lot of criticism about the shows authenticity, the violence, the nudity and the crass language used at times or sometimes redundantly in certain episode however one must realize that this show is just pure escapism entertainment. It takes you on a mind trip to ancient Rome where life was brutish, harsh, there were uneven class systems and lots of corruption with the leaders. I like the show has decided to set its own path by being different. My favorite episode was episode 5. it was epic at the end.

I actually love this show. I discovered it recently and think it's really cool. I want to see if other people feel the same way.
