It has been a rough week. Along with the heat and humidity we made a midnight rush to the emergency room with my mom last Friday morning. Around 9 a.m. they admitted her. Also an ambulance trip to the hospital for my husband, who thankfully is OK. Mom is now out and back home, but I have had very little sleep for too many days and now I can finally get some rest instead of running to town a couple times a day. We had planned a short vacation to visit friends, but will put that on hold until I know how everyone's health is. The bikes are beginning to show up so traffic will definitely increase and so will the noise. My mom is 93 today so we need to go in for a visit, had planned to go out to supper, but it is going to be hot and she is just happy to stay home with her cat. It is really nice here this morning 63 degrees and the house is so cool. Little fawn made friends with my cat last night while she was on her walk. Saw the first baby turkeys last night also. It is so good to hear from you and to know that you have found a place you really do enjoy. As soon as I get done going through all of my people I am going to check out where you are. Would I be able to find you there or does it not work that way? I had the grandkids for a week and their dad came to get them Saturday. They left yesterday and my sisiter is also here spending some time. I only see her once a year so we are having a good time. I miss talking to you and I hope the other place is something I might like. You take care of yourself and I hope that things are working out. I keep wondering how I can worry so much about someone I don't know, I think it has to do with your age and the things you have gone through, I keep thinking that the same thing could have happened to one of my sons as they are close to your age. I am glad that you have found a place where you can connect with people. Things have been going very well here and at least we have had no nasty people floating around lately, That should probably be a knock on wood. You are in my prayers and stay well.
