How've you been? My husband became ill 3 months ago (he never did see the end of March Madness) and is in a rehab facility so I'm back and forth there almost every day. Thanks for the thinking of me during the holidays and at the end of college basketball season. It was a highlight of my month to see your message on my board. :) 13 hours ago
Hi thar - have got a mother load of the lurgies this week and am holed up in bed with a stack of 50c op-shop paperbacks, buckets of hot lemon drinks and a freezer full of my own brilliant cooking (soups, casseroles, pies, etc). So I will survive in style. Piri senses that I'm not well and comes into the b/room, parking his pony sized carcase beside the bed and making sympathetic noises. But when you are in bed for a few days the clock has no meaning - will rug up and log on at 4am with the heater fired up and a cuppa java to hand. Piri seems to interpret any exit from the bedroom as morning/breakfast time and starts noisily pushing his food bowl around the kitchen. Not stupid - wily as a fox when it comes to food heh-heh. All he gets for his late night academy award winning performance is one dog biscuit. :-))) Cheers texxx
