I wanted to teach third grade,but Mom made me go to computer programming school. I got As and Bs, but quit and got married. I did not like it. (Either one. :) )

I took training in high school to be an Administrative Assistant, took more training later (way later) in computer programming but I have been unable to work at either profession because of my health.

My "job" right now is a housewife and I never imagined that it would be. I was an analyst/programmer for many, many years but that came to an abrupt end when I had to go out on disability. It was a rude awakening and it's still kind of tough to accept but right now I don't have a choice so I try to make the best of it.

I am a registered nurse, but currently I am not working by choice. I am going to school full time to get a Master of Science degree in Nursing so that I can switch gears and become a nursing instructor. I love floor nursing, but it isn’t what I want to do until I retire. I have always wanted to become a nursing instructor and finally after nearly twenty years of nursing I have the opportunity to pursue that dream. I could not be happier.
