I prefer tea over coffee, green tea or black tea, with milk, no sweetener. I can't stand coffee, it makes me sick, but I know lots of people who can't start their day without it.
I drink 2 cups (12 oz each) of coffee every day and that's it for my caffeine intake. After that I drink Caffeine Free Diet Coke OR Decaf iced tea. I love my coffee, even though I didn't drink coffee until I was in my late 30s. I guess you have (I did) to develop a taste for it but once you do, it becomes a habit and a very enjoyable habit, I might add.
I will drink tea, but don't care for it very much. I like herb teas sometimes also. I am a coffee drinker and enjoy 2 cups evey morning. The only time that I can't stomach coffee, is if I have been ill, then I realize how strong it is and drink tea for a day or two.
I think that caffeine 'in moderation' is okay for anybody as long as a person is not allergic to it or has a bad addiction to it. Actually, studies have proved a moderate amount can be healthy.
It really doesn't have that much affect on me. Can have coffee at night or soda in the morning. I have other stuff too so it doesn't bother me in moderation. My kids don't drink soda but once & awhile, opting for water.
Gotta have my caffeine of the morning or otherwise I get a headache. I like tea or coffee either one. It really makes no difference to me. Plus I drink pop as well through out the day. But if I get too much caffeine though, I get the nervous jitters.
