Maybe it's the cooking shows that I've been watching, but now I cannot cook meat without using thyme. I'm an OK cook but have found that adding a little bit of seasoning to my dishes brings them to a whole new level. What seasoning have you recently 'discovered?'
I am one of those people who follows every recipe exactly, so there is no adding of anything to my recipes! I have started using fresh rosemary from our garden instead of the dried rosemary you buy in the store. It tastes so much better. But I only use it if the recipe calls for rosemary!
j love the kitchen, j uses thyme to white meat en papillote, but I take thyme k, j uses much d spices, cumin for lamb, 5 bays for beef, j l love the dishes of the Middle East , Curry, mussels with saffron, jaques st a flower of salt,
Tumeric is underrated! Don't like curry but don't want to lose your memory when you age? Tumeric is the key! With little flavour this spice that gives curry its yellow colour is a power house for brain health!
