Help!! My wedding is just round the corner, I am looking forward to being married but am dreading the ceremony itself, I am afraid I will cry and make a fool of myself, has anyone got any tips to calm me down on the day?
Hi All, thanks for all the messages, just to let you all know that the Wedding went very well, only one or two small hitches. I managed to keep my emotions in check for most of the day until my dad got emotional, that set me off and most of my guests too. However, i had a few HAPPY tears when i got home but didnt ruin the mascara for the photos. x
Oh Dear ,you wont cry ! will you everyone else is supposed to cry not you ,all i can say is try your best to think of nothing else ,relax and just take your vows ,then cry afterwards ,i know not very helpful sorry
I dont really know what to say accept for you will be fine and just remember it should be the best day of your life try to stay calm and think happy thoughts. I was so calm about my wedding right up to it and everyone kept saying your nervous and not saying but i wasnt at all until i got to the church then i burst into tears making al my make up run i kinda wish i had been nervous before the day it might have helped! My friend got married last year and she was so calm didnt get nervous or anything she was so good! take care x
why would you want to cry its supposed to be the happiest time of your life and i loved it when i got married and wished i could have been a guest at my own wedding because usually its such a blur
Congratulations on your forth coming weddingi to am being married two weeks this friday and even though i am so looking forward to it,i am very nervous and really stressed out, everyone keeps telling me not to worry the day its self will sort its self out but i think yes it is alright you all saying this but it is my wedding day,i have everything done now and i am as prepared as i will ever be,as long as the cermony goes without a hitch i will be so happy, you must let us know how you day and i wish you and your partner all the best.x
Nerves are quite natural on such an important day. You could try taking a few drops of Rescue Remedy - it's herbal and Holland & Barratt stock it - so it won't make you wobbly or anything, just a little calmer. Have a great day - once you get there the nerves will more than likely vanish, and being emotional is expected of the bride anyway! Congratulations!
Hi there mate congrateulations well you get married a week after me mate mine is on the 10th april mate and im noy nervous at all,i would take some khams mate id=f i were you there can be purchased at any chemist take care mate and i will ley all you know how i got on mate regards dicka42
No one will think you're a fool for crying. Most brides get a little tearful. Just imagine the best man naked and you won't want to cry - just giggle xx
Congratulations and you know sweetheart, no one will think you are a fool if you cry on your wedding day! If you are really concerned, my advice would be to take a deep breath if you find yourself welling up and tell yourself that the marriage ceremony is the first step on your married road. Good luck and most importantly, enjoy the day xxx
