Gender inequality is a huge form of discrimination. It is completely unfair for either a man or woman to be paid less for a job that is performed by a member of the opposite sex. I can't think of many valid reasons why there should be a gap in pay rates. The pay scale for men and women should be equal. Why shouldn't it be? Women deserve equal pay.
