Recently i came across a posting of a certain someone who claims to be a U.S. citizen stuck in another country because of lack of funds to buy a ticket. He claims he recently processed and received a U.S. passport at a U.S. consulate in that country but could not get any further help from them as his mother lost or forgot his a social security number when he was a child.
Now i have a lot of concerns about this claim as i do not believe it for one second. i think it is impossible for a US consulate to provide a passport to someone who does not have a social security number. i also believe he may have a stolen passport.
I'd like to know what you all think about this.
