My points for OT responses which I earn are credited immediately when I earn them (when I hit 20, 30, 40, 50, 75 or 100 responses to my topics). It's important to note that it's one response per member, so it may look as though you have 20 (or more) responses, but duplicate postings are not counted. Nor are "replies" to a response counted. I received my points for the 80+ word opinions the other day - the 9th or 10th, I think. You have to go back to the previous month to see them, as they appear on the actual date when they were written. So I saw a jump in my point balance the other day, but I had to go back into January to see that the points had actually appeared in my queue. The lower survey point amounts are usually in my queue within a day or two. The ones which have higher point values can take up to 6 to 8 weeks to show up. At the end of each survey, it will give a message which contains the approximate amount of time that it will take for you to receive survey points.
I have received my event credits whenever my opinion topics reach their earning thread level, but the points for any 80-word responses I write will not be credited for a month or more. Toluna evidently requires extra time to sort out the multiple responses we are now able to submit on a topic.
I have noticed that I usually get my reward points applied to my acct. within 1-3 weeks. It all depends on who the survey is being done thru. I have only had an issue one time n that is right now where I do not even have a pending point from a survey I did, so I am waiting on the inquiry. Otherwise I've never had any problems receiving my points!!
Are people really having to wait that long to get credited? I'm pretty new here, so I don't know much about what everyone is going through or what a typical wait period is. I've taken quite a few surveys and polls in the past week, and I'm usually either credited at some point the same day or, at the most, by the following day. It's interesting hearing about the glitches people have been running into...guess I've been lucky so far.
I personally have noticed they have been slow the past few days only before that there usually very quick to award points unless its on a survey where award is like 15k or more those I believe they wait until company notifies them who completed it. Yet last few days they have been not awarding most but then I give them the benefit of doubt I would not be surprised if they are scrambling like crazy trying to recover from what the VIP company did to them and all the other survey places folding up as they did without notifying the survey companies of its possibility. This I am sure opened flood gates of work for companies first needing to recoop any payments that have gone astray and now needing a new pay option for those of us who prefer not to be paid in checks or music downloads. But be patient I have seen in the months I have been a member they always catch up and do the right thing by us...
Point's are not the problem here, did you hear about the new incentive, alots of people are very pisssed about this, I am waiting for my $100 amazon and It has been 3 to 4 weeks already, I am afraid that I will never get my INCENTIVE.
