We had about $20,000 in itemized deductions; but didn't pay any taxes, so we don't get anything back. Sigh.

I use Tax Act to do my taxes and received a message from them regarding this.

What is your normal tax filing deadline? Here in Canada, it is April 30th with our tax receipt reports (income & otherwise), by law, having to be in our hands no later than February 28th.

Why does this not surprise me?? My husband does ours and since we do not get a refund or pay in, he just makes sure they are in by the middle of April. I am sure that none of these will make any difference. Seems like they could spend a little more time on things like this instead of worrying what our kids are having for lunch.

Can you believe the IRS had not finished the tax changes, I was shocked by that. All those tax returns, which had already been filed will be on hold, their refunds will be delayed. I cannot remember this ever happending before. I thought this was strange.
