I have a lot of people that tell me I won't be getting any thing from taking these surveys, and polls, am I really dumb or is there actually hope to earn some cash and other small goodies?
You've gotten lots of advice already. I do make a little money from doing surveys. Not as much as some US people (Canada, here) but nice pocket money. Tolune seems to be a lot of effort to reach the redeem level, but I do it for fun and the payout level comes as a surprise.
I've tested a couple things since it became Toluna, but did a lot more product tests when they were still Greenfield and Your2Cents. How long you have to test something depends on what you're testing. I've gotten food products that I need to use within a few days and lotions they want me to use for 6 weeks. I've never had to return anything but if that's the case, they will pay for it, not you. You will earn a little cash simply by responding to the polls and surveys. Good Luck!!
you wont get rich, but i average en extra $200 a month and out it away for christmas presents. i get some product tests. not all surveys offer them and you have to qualify for them.
Some do give you a LITTLE cash...but the big bucks and the "free" prizes...those type actually COST you money first!! Ie...gift cards, computers, phones etc...all those require some type of up front purchase first. Up to you if you want to spend $70 to get a $500 check or spend anywhere from $10 up to get a $50 gift card!! Me...I stick to the REAL freebies. One site has earned me a little over $5 so far. This one I have loads of points...not sure yet what those points will get me.
I have earned cash from Toluna and other survey panels. I have not had a product trial with Toluna but have tested MANY products on other panels. So put your mind at ease, this really does work! :D
Depends on which survey sites you sign up with...Toluna's points do add up, but you need to be diligent about voting for points, posting opinions, etc. Be sure to read the FAQ's so you understand exactly how this site works. As far as product testing goes, I've never done a product test for Toluna but have for some other sites; if you screen into the desired demographic group for that product, you will be asked to try a product. The product will be sent to your home along with instructions, and you'll get a follow-up survey in your email to record your responses. I personally enjoy product testing, even if the product turns out to be one I would not purchase for whatever the reason may be, and if a product is truly a bad idea, the manufacturer needs to know that before putting it on the market. The marketing department for the product also needs to know which qualities of a product to emphasize in their ad campaigns, and feedback from product sampling is how they get their information.
