I have to disagree with the generalization that "girls are to whinny." Some of the most whiny people I have known are male. Girls, in general, are just known for being better at expressing their emotions, which may seem like whining to you, but it's a healthy part of dealing with life's problems and learning to communicate and interact with others. Boys may seem tougher, but they have emotions too -- some just either don't know how to act on them, or bottle them up until they can't hold it down anymore and explode in a fit of anger and violence. I would rather have a crying girl than a rowdy boy who yells and screams, tracking mud through the house and throwing things when he gets angry. Not to mention, that boy may very well turn into a disrespectful teenager who brings a different girl home every night and tries to sneak her up to his room to get her drunk and god knows what. I can imagine a whole boat-load of potential problems. Of course, when girls get older, you do have to worry about possible pregnancies, but if your boy gets somebody else's girl pregnant, it's not exactly any less worrisome. As far as PMS goes, your perception of it may be a little off, most women don't experience symptoms that are really even noticeable to others. If their symptoms are severe enough to interfere with daily life, doctors will try to tell you is actually PMDD, not PMS, and try to prescribe medication for it. Most females just want to lay in bed and be left alone. I don't see how that's so bad. If you are worried about your daughter having PMS, by the time she does, she'll almost be out of the house by that age anyway. I have always wanted a girl. I want to be able to relate to her and show her that she can trust me to come to me with her concerns the way my mother was never able to with me. Neither gender is guaranteed to be "easier". Just imagine if you have a child with severe disabilities or mental problems; that can be challenging regardless of whether it's a male or female. I suppose men usually want boys and women usually want girls. For the record, though, this is not the case with my significant other. Whether you have a girl, a boy, or one or more of each, I'm sure you'll find a reason to be proud.
I have a boy and a girl. My boy is the oldest. My daughter definately gave me the most headaches growing up and i tease her about it now, but ive got to say i love them both dearly and they both brought their own unique personalities. I think it depends more on the kid than the sex, some are just a little harder to raise. Thanks.
I am not married nor do I have kids but I do want one of both.. I want a boy & a girl :) My mom prefer girls because they are less of a hassle. Boys, when they grow up they supposedly do not care about their parents anymore.
I believe that its actually better to have a girl more than a boy. First reason: Boys are messy (I have two brothers) second their lazy. Girls on the other hand are not as messy and pickup after themselves.
Write your opinion here!I know it is better to have girls they are always there a boy says call if you need me girls show up to see if they are needed. a son is a son until he takes a wife a daughter is a daughter all her life
Well lets see I had three brothers growing up all younger than me, after I got married I had three daughters. I that with out boys and girls there will be no more children, and if your children are healthy that is all that matters.
I completely disagree!!! With boys you have to deal with drinking and drugs and sex and attitudes. I don't know but I think both equal out to the same.
