How content were you in your summer?

This summer was moderate, not that content.I learned alot of things and went alot of places. But I felt summer could have been better.Going to the movies really made my summer but for me not so content with my summer.

We got a total of about 20 days of real summer this year in the Great Northwest. I don't particularly want it blazing hot but a nice 80 to 90 is awesome for hanging out at the river or beach. Another problem though for river rats is that all of them come from the cascades and are like icewater. As far as productivity, my summer was rather lazy but I did manage to get the yard transformed with 2 new flower beds and a waterfall over the fish pond.

Hmm. My summer was okay! It had its up and downs, for one it was SHORT :(. We didn't get out of school until June so it went by so fast! Some of the ups were that I got to go to California, such an amazing state, and teach bible school to kids who lived in a neighborhood which was not the best one I have ever been in. Also going to the Ozarks was fun and spending time with family and friends. Some downs were it went by so fast, and I had a summer assignment already for school. It also was not as fun because I have to start getting ready for my future and figuring every thing out.. ugh, stress!!!

Very content...it was a good old-fashioned summer. Hot, beautiful weather, good people, good times. The beach/swimming/waves were awesome!

My summer was so-so. I got some money so I could travel, but instead put that money into a high interest savings account. I don't want to squander my money on travel because who knows if I may stop getting it and may find myself in need again. I am continuing to live my previous lifestyle for awhile so I can save, save, save. Maybe next year I will go on a little vacation to Disneyworld for a few days'. I mostly spent this summer on a staycation this year and enjoyed local attractions' like Farmers' Markets' and Craft Fairs' rather than long distance travel. I have also, spent a few weeks visiting my parent's and cat near Boston, MA which is about two hours away from where I am living. I stayed at their house and ate most of my meals there too. I also visited downtown Boston and that was alot of fun.

I really can not complain. I had a pretty good summer. The time seemed to go by too quickly, though.

summer was so hot and rainy I did not enjoy it at all, sweat everyday and get wet crazy. I can not wait until the winter time I hope it is so cold this year.

I broke my ankle June 20th (Father's Day), so my summer was definitely not what I anticipated. We usually do alot of camping and boating etc. This was my first summer ever as a couch potato.
