Why do you think you sometimes get the message, "Please enter a valid question," when you've just done so?

Have you ever tried to respond to an opinion question on Toluna, clicked the "submit" button, and gotten your text yellowed out and the message below it, "Please enter a valid opinion text."? Why do you think this happens?

I have this happen sometimes but then I shorten my answer, it goes through. It sure makes you edit more than before.

Hopefully it is not a permanent thing as I don't think my patience will take much more of it....it is so frustrating and such a waste of what, after all, is our precious time.

If you write a long opinion this happens. The solution is to click on the "give opinion" rather than on the topic itself.

Hi, we are having same problem on the UK site, the solution is to click on 'give opinion' rather than opening up the topic onto the page with other members replies. You can then write a longer reply. If you have already written your reply on the open topic page you can copy and paste your reply back into the 'give opinion' box, hope this helps x

YES, frequently! No one has...as of yet...successfully explained why. If you notice, "help" seems to have disappeared in this new format!
