I would most probably go and see the film simply because I (shamefully) read the first book & would be interested to see a film adaptation of it. Always interesting to see how the film adaptation compares to your perspective or imagination of the book.

I have read the first book and will not be reading anymore of them. I think making it into a movie is like saying it is okay to make any erotic fiction into a movie. I honestly don't know what all the fuss has been about as it really is not a well written book and erotic fiction has been about for many, many years - try looking up Black Lace books on Amazon and you will see what I mean.

Please please please stop all this drivel about this drivel, this topic has been around for a millenia it seems. It`s all been done before and better, there`s hundreds of similar books films if you trawl the net and all probably better and without the huge hype this crap has had.

More soft porn, just what we need....Why bother going to the cinema, if you want to see abusive relationships in BDSM action you can get all you want off the internet for free.

nunca iguala una film a un libro por que de todas las peliculas que se han hecho sacadas de algun libro, no tienen nada que ver asi es que es mejor leerlo

I'm reading the book. Will go and see the movie.
I hope the casting choices aren't disappointing.

I enjoyed the book, but I normally get disappointed because at times the movies do not follow the books accurately.
