Speaking from past experience... Nothing is gained from cheating. Maybe something to pacify the real problem in a relationship. But in the end, so much damage is done. Trust is the big thing, but there is so much more when you consider consequences and what else is involved. Think about finances, and when kids are involved, not only did you betray your partner, but your children as well. Then think about your mutual friends as a couple. It is just not worth it!
