Is Stuart Pearce doing the right thing by leaving David Beckham out ot the Olympic football team?

I agree with Pearce and think it is time to stop all this sentimental Waffle. Lets face it Beckham is well past his sell by date, and should not be chosen to satisfy his own vanity.

Not sure. David is a great player but the new players are good and Beckham is close to retirement age when it comes to potential injuries he is high on the list, unfortunately.

I think he should be there as a holding player as his passing is second to none.

I do not rate Stuart Pearce to run any football team. Manchester city and Nottingham Forest can testify to his poor record of winning and losing when in charge of them.

He's 38 and they were only allowed to pick three 23 and older players. I guess the other three who were picked were better. There's going to be a lot of disappointed fans who purchased tickets just to see him play.
