What DIET PLAN works for you....?

When I feel I need to loose a bit of weight, I just have a one yogurt for breakfast and eat no more till lunchtime. This normally makes me want less to eat during the rest of the day. I do not eat bread either, just slimming biscuits during this time and it works for me.

I always eat fairly healthily, I never add any extra oil, salt or sugar when cooking and always use cuts of meat with the least fat. I try to eat five a day, two portions of fish a week and no more than two portions of red meat a week. I have large portions of breakfast, lunch and dinner so that I am full and will therefore not be tempted to snack between meals and try to stick to fruit if I do get hungry. I am able to have dessert after tea because all the other meals are low in fat and sugar. Because of these constant healthy eating habits I can afford to eat unhealthy foods from time to time and never need to resort to diets for slimming.

I have not been very successful lately at trying to lose weight. Every monday I wake up and say, today I will begin.
In the past I have used the system 10 diet and it does work but you really need to work hard with it. Thinkong about it now I should start that again.

The Duken Diet. Its a French diet and for three days you just eat protein. Its hard but worth it. xx

I try to limit my portion sizes. I found in the past, keeping a food diary for a week was a really helpful tool. I was told to do it by a dietician. That way you can review exactly what you have eaten, without forgetting aything, and find where (even slight) alterations can be made. For example, one of my main things was if I want to have toast for breakfast, not having spread on it but something with fewer calories like vegemite. I also switched from normal bread to low calorie.

Sorry if this isn't very helpful!! But I just stick to eating 4 meals a day and walking around alot (although, I'm currently struggling to do the latter as I have an ankle/leg/foot issue going on). If some days I eat a bit more than others, what with bigger meals, more snacks etc... such as the odd plate of cheese and biscuits, or bar of chocolate/biscuits between meals, so be it. In the long run, these things don't seem to make that much of a difference and my weight stays at a fairly even constant....which as far as I know, is a fairly healthy weight for my height/BMI etc...

If I am trying to loose weight, I find the best thing to do and works for me, is to just try to eat smaller portions of normal food. I tend to have a fairly healthy diet at most times, so do not eat too many "bad" foods, but do try to only permit myself a treat on occasions - a small slice of cake, or a biscuit if I have a great urge. I do try to eat regular meals and eat three meals a day - if I skip one, I only eat more later on, so that does not work.
