1. Boomers Act Locally And Live Globally 2. "the three boxes of life": employment, work, and retirement 3. Many boomers cut their teeth on the social change movements spearheaded in the '60s and '70s, ushering in new eras of inclusiveness, diversity and understanding. 4. Spiritual Quests For Meaning Changed Many Boomers' World: "There have been spiritual traditions ever since people were in caves, but our cohort were the ones that went to the East and said 'I could be Jewish and Buddhist at the same time,'" he said. 5. "My hope is that as we grow older, people will see how different we look and act [and] stereotypes of older people being obsolete, stupid and [prone to] Alzheimer's will begin to fall apart," Achenbaum said (by Dr. W. Andrew Achenbaum who wrote “How Boomers Turned Conventional Wisdom on Its Head.”)
I was born just before the boomers and yes, they have made many great changes, but also, they have brought some things that aren't great too, just like every generation.
Here in the Czech Republic we have rather a problem with a decline in the birth of children. The population in our country is still decreasing. Scientists have even discovered that over time the Czech nation dies.
I am from the UK and find the boomer to be a very rapid rising phonomenon that I do not know if it is good or bad. But at least I have given your topic an opinion and hope it helps with your points.
