Do you like tile, carpet, or wood flooring? I prefer a combination of flooring in my home. I like soft carpets for bedrooms, hardwood floors with a few nice rugs for living and dining rooms, and ceramic floor tiles for kitchen and bathroom. Carpet flooring is a very comfortable flooring option, but it is not easy to maintain. It harbors dust and allergens. But carpeted floors are warmer even in cool weather and have got slip-resistant properties. Wood flooring is beautiful and easier to clean. Hardwood floors look very pretty when furnished and polished. But sometimes it is loud to walk on. Ceramic floor tiles require simple maintenance while other types of floor may need extra attention and maintenance effort, tiles need minimal cleaning. But ceramic floor tiles are a bit cold looking and slippery. I think, there are pros and cons of each type of flooring. So what type of flooring do you prefer?
