have you ever hitch-hiked?

honestly i think it would take someone with true guts to go and stick your thumb out so some stranger can pick you up and take you to where you want to be. i mean this is a crazy and sick world. anyone could pull over and offer a ride. so what do you all think of this?

No, I wouldn't do it in a million years. Wouldn't trust a stranger in a car. Too many weirdos out there.

I used to thumb rides all the time. It was a great way to get around town before I could drive or had my own wheels. I gave it up, though, after some homo started to grope me and I had to hop out of the car on the fly.
If you do thumb, I recommend you carry a knife and be ready to use it. There are some crazies out there, as there always has been. Stay alert and pay attention to your surroundings.
