well for me,thers some part that its our fault, because we are letting this people, ruin our country, and most of this are the goverment and president because, instead of helping the people, they are corrupting the money for their own good..
I feel it is the governments fault. We could probably stop by gas and that might help, but I can not walk to work so I am stuck, I try not to go any further than I have to.
I think we are to blame. We consume without thinking about the consequences. Why does someone with no kids need a vehicle that can hold 12 people? But I think now it's too late. If everyone started driving more energy efficient vehicles they would just cut production and charge more anyway. We really need to look at alternatives and make them more affordable to more people.
Of the three choices, the people. We choose to use the gas and we do nothing, other than complain, to oppose the obscene profits made by the oil companies. The governement and the president can do virtually nothing to change the prices--that's up to the speculators, the oil companies, and the financial giants who manipulate and control the market. Politicians leap on the rising prices in an effort to place the blame on their opponents, and to attempt to suggest they could do better. Any intelligent voter who does any serious research can easily discover the truth, and find it's hot air coming from the politicians-not lower gas prices.
