I take away what they like the most, or make them do everyone's chores for a certain period of time.

I had four children who are grown now,but when one of my daughters was young i made her sit in the hallway in a small chair!About an hour later i heard a tiny voice asking if she could move ,now?I felt so bad!Sounds like you are doing all the things i did, good luck!

I raised three children on taking away things that they love to do. For instance video games or tv shows. They all turned out to be productive, caring adults.
